Akron Children’s Hospital

Akron Children’s Hospital provides care to more than one million patients each year across its network. Its certified oncology team treats a range of childhood cancers and blood disorders, caring for approximately eight newly diagnosed cancer patients each month. As a member of the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) and one of the few pediatric programs verified by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, Akron Children’s helps shape national standards of care, contributing to CBTN’s goal of advancing treatments and improving outcomes for children.
