Profiling the amino acid transporter landscape to inform fluorescent dye development for improved surgical outcome of image-guided intervention in adolescent and young adult glioma patients

We specifically request pediatric glioma tissue microarrays (TMAs) from CBTN, because the CBTN is in the unique position to provide such TMAs based on tissue banking of pediatric glioma tissues. We are specifically interested in TMAs that contain pediatric gliomas and medulloblastoma-tissues. Via our co-investigators Drs. Ali Nabavizadeh and Mariarita Santi (contact: Anatomic Pathology; CHOP; SANTIM@chop.edu) we have identified existing TMAs that are available within CBTN that we would like to use for multiplexed IHC analysis using CODEX to assess amino acid-transporter expression in these
tissues at a core-facility at Stanford University. These analyses will subsequently guide intraoperative fluorescent dye development to assist the surgeon in performing more gross-total resection using image-guided approaches in the AYA LGG patients.
