Targeting Cell Surface ALK

Having access to brain tumor cell lines allows us to test our hypothesis, that this ALK-ADC will work in other tumor types, along with NB, if they have cell surface ALK expression. Neuroblastoma is not the only cancer type that expresses ALK on the cell surface and whose patients are in need of better therapies. Having other cancer types that respond to this ADC certainly strengthens our study, but also makes this ADC potentially more attractive for pharmaceutical companies to develop.
