Pre-clinical Studies for NF2 Schwannomas

NF2 is a rare tumor disorder. NF2 Biosolutions Inc. has entered into an agreement with CBTTC to have NF2 patients donate their tumor tissue. Because we are not affiliated with a clinical department, we do not have access to patient tumors. Therefore the ability for us to develop therapeutics for NF2 schwannomas is dependent on use of patient derived tumors. Specimens may also be requested from local tissue banks in Florida, such as those present as Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, University of Miami Miller school of Medicine Otolaryngology department, and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando.
