While immunotherapy shows promise for treating tumors, progress in the pediatric setting has been slow. Our porposal will investigate the role of heritable genetic variation in promoting an immune suppressed microenvironment in pediatric tumors. These studies will provide insight into barriers to immunotherapy unique to the pediatric setting, and inform future strategies to adapt these treatments.
