Profiling non-canonical open reading frames in pediatric brain cancer

Learning the underlying causes of pediatric brain use statement cancers has the potential to yield long-term benefits for the development of new therapeutic approaches. Our work specifically focuses on the discovery of previously-unknown small proteins (termed microproteins) that may enrich our knowledge of brain cancer biology. In this work, we will be focusing our microprotein efforts to advance several specific hard-to-treat and rare pediatric cancers: high-risk medulloblastoma, ETMR and pineoblastoma.
