Dr. Aldape is a molecular neuropathologist with a focus on the molecular basis and classification of brain tumors. From a broader perspective, he is interested in the use of new technologies (genomic, computational) that contribute to precision diagnostics of cancer, and ultimately improved patient outcomes. His areas of expertise include molecular genomics of brain tumors, diagnostic neuropathology, precision diagnostics and epigenomic signatures of cancer.
