Dr. Mankad's clinical academic interests are diverse including neuro-oncology, infective and inflammatory diseases, brain malformations, white matter disorders, movement disorders and epilepsy. He has authored five text-books, 125 peer reviewed publications and several book chapters. His international collaborations include Stanford University, Dobyns Lab in Seattle, Neuro-MIG COST Europe, Christian Medical College Hospital, Vellore as well as Gaslini Children’s Hospital, Genoa. He is a core member of the Brain Tumour Imaging group with SIOPe, and a member of the ASPNR, RSNA, ESNR and BSNR.
