Shannon Robins is a Clinical Research Coordinator responsible for patient consenting and enrollment, clinical data management and quality assurance for the Children’s Brain Tumor Network (CBTN). She also oversees a sub-cohort project focused on Neurofibromatosis II research and assists with the Liquid Biopsy Collection Protocol.
Before starting in her current role at CHOP in November 2019, Shannon worked as a research assistant studying the tumor microenvironment of medulloblastomas. She earned a BS in Biology from the College of William and Mary, where she also worked in a cell biology lab as an undergraduate student. Shannon is committed to advancing pediatric brain tumor research and is inspired by the patients and families that she works with who also share in this commitment.
