about this
Institution
Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone is home to more than 400 doctors representing more than 35 specialties. We partner with children and families to provide exceptional care for every type of childhood condition, from the most common to the most complex.
Our extensive network of care locations extends from New York City to Long Island and New Jersey. And Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital—34th Street is the newest children’s hospital in New York City. From our hospitals to neighborhood doctors’ offices to highly specialized programs and centers, we provide children of all ages with expert healthcare for any type of medical concern.
We’re also invested in improving children’s health through clinical, translational, and basic research programs. Our researchers are committed to better understanding how environmental contaminants have an impact on children’s health; improving school readiness and health literacy for children from low-resource communities; and understanding how a mother’s diet before and after pregnancy contributes to childhood obesity. We also offer opportunities for children to participate in research studies and clinical trials for the treatment of certain conditions.
