Meyer Children's Hospital is part of the Italian national health system, within the division of the region of Tuscany. It is integrated with the University of Florence with which it carries out care, training and research activities. Meyer has 250 beds and all pediatric medical and surgical areas. The hospital is located in the Florentine foothills in an area characterized by natural beauty. Three new buildings are currently being renovated or constructed: the Anna Meyer Family Center, the Meyer Health Campus, and the Meyer Health Park.
