Abstract
This scientific publication explores the progress and challenges of using immunotherapy to treat pediatric central nervous system (CNS) tumors. Despite recent advancements in immunotherapy for other pediatric cancers, its impact on CNS tumors in children has been limited. The article reviews current and future immunotherapeutic clinical trials for CNS tumors, discussing unique challenges such as managing side effects and evaluating treatment effectiveness. The authors emphasize the potential of combining different immunotherapeutic strategies and call for international collaboration to advance the field and achieve successful application against pediatric CNS tumors.
