Hackensack Meridian Children’s Health has repeatedly ranked as a top provider of pediatric health care in the United States. Ranked by U.S. News & World Report, the combined pediatric cancer care program at Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center and K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, ranked 42 in the country, and is the only pediatric cancer program in New Jersey to rank in the top 50. For the sixth time, the pediatric neurology and neurosurgery program at Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital ranked in the top 50 nationally.
The Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital’s Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Program offers specialized and advanced level of care for children with brain and spinal cord tumors in New Jersey and around the country thanks to extensive trials, research, and an expert understanding of treatment and care. The multi-disciplinary collaboration consists of a skilled team of oncologists, neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, neuroradiologists, neurologists, neuropsychologists, and advanced practice nurses.
